Reiki for the Dying

Facing death isn't easy - not just for the person who's dying, but also those left to cope with the loss.

You can feel helpless, desperate to take away their pain and suffering - wanting them to be at peace, to have a good death.

Recently I have been asked to send Reiki to terminally ill people and it’s been so helpful and healing that I have created a new Reiki offering.

Reiki Distant Healing for End of Life, is a Reiki treatment dedicated to your loved one in the last months, weeks or days of their life. It can be one treatment or up to three, if time allows. As with distant healing I’m able to reach your loved one wherever they are, as we don’t need to be physically present, making this treatment really special and accessible.

This Reiki treatment is designed to care and support your loved one and it can help by lessening the fear of death, being accepting of this stage, letting go of regrets and tying up any loose ends, if needed.

Being with my Dad in the last few hours of his life was heartbreakingly painful, but I’m so glad and grateful I was there by his side. And I know it’s not possible for many now, and is one of the many tragedies of covid.

Losing a family member can bring many hurts, unresolved issues and misunderstandings to the surface, as you and your family cope with grief and loss. Support is available with Reiki Family Circles. In this Reiki Distant Healing Treatment your family unit will receive Reiki in a dedicated healing circle and you can nominate who you would like to include. Your needs will be different from those around you and in this Reiki treatment you will also support each other while receiving Reiki.
