Reiki in our digital age…

There’s no denying we’re living in a digital age. And whatever your relationship to technology, I’m sure you’ve been grateful during the pandemic to have been able to connect with family, friends, work, rest, in ways you never could have dreamed twenty years ago.

And it’s time for digital healing.

We have ten digits and ten major Energy Centres / Chakras (you may have heard of the term ‘Chakra’, a Sanskrit word meaning spinning ‘wheel / disc’ of light). These major Energy Centres go all the way to our feet and beyond. Seven Chakras, that is often spoken about or represented with the seated figure and circles of colour, is not the full story. Stopping at the base is just over half the picture - we have legs, knees, feet...

We connect to the earth, with our feet.

We have the ability to walk towards better outcomes and away from others. We have freedom to move quickly, and stability when we stand. We are grounded by our connection to the earth and you can’t build anything secure without a stable foundation!

If you’re not connected to your earth (root) foundation you can feel lost, drained, unsure of your path/identity, knocked about by life, living your life for others, neglecting your own needs.

All Reiki practitioners from The Golden Reiki Way lineage are attuned to the 10 major Energy Centres, and this for me is one of the most important aspects of my lineage that I’m so grateful for.

The most stable energy healers are attuned all the way to their feet and beyond. If you’re not stable working with energy, it gets messy.

I’ve had to work hard to create and secure my own foundation, it began almost nine years ago when I completed my Reiki Foundation course and took me six years to get to Mastery and then two years to create my own treatment space.

For me this is a life path. I’m dedicated to helping my clients build and secure their own foundation, so that they can reach as high as the sky! Wherever you are on your path, I’m here ready to meet you.
