Happy Spring / Autumn Equinox! 

At this time of equality, I wish you inner peace as we move into a new cycle.

Rainbow of Peace & Arrow of Truth 2020-21

Eleven months ago, I had the concept for this symbol you see. It was a dark time in the thick of the first lockdown and during a self Reiki treatment I chose a Sacred Path Card to give me some hope and light (Sacred Path Cards, The Discovery of Self Through Native Teachings by Jamie Sams) and the one I selected was ‘Whirling Rainbow’. Reading this story, there are many teachings and those that stood out for me were equality, harmony, protection and truth.

The following day, when on my walk I could only smile! Dotted in almost every window was what had become the icon of gratitude and hope during this pandemic, the rainbow! Now I knew I had to create my version of the Whirling Rainbow of Peace. And here it is.

On my original drawing were the notes; this is one perspective of unity, flow, cooperation, movement. Arrow of truth, the targets.

During this Equinox let us hold equality in our hearts. We are more similar than different; we all have the capacity to choose love over fear in every moment. It’s also about where we find ourselves now and where we can arc towards on this beautiful journey called life. This representation of the Whirling Rainbow focuses on unity, harmony, peace and equality, living in balance with no one more important than another. We are all special and when working together with our gifts from the heart, there is beauty abound.

Hold the arrows of truth within your heart and embrace your Warrior Self. With your rainbow and arrow, we have a target, a destination; inner peace.
